Welcome back to my small (Garden) World - Welcome back in My Little (Garden) World

A warm welcome and thanks to all of you who abided by me!
It's nearly been a month since I wrote the last time, but June was very stressful for me with all the new impression around working and additionally we had two huge (family) celebrations.
But now I'm back again and want to show you our newly made project we finnished yesterday ... our new terrace!

weekend before Harry has set the border and with a little help from me (concrete mixing Erin) cemented. On Thursday the big truck came with 7 tons of gravel that will serve as the construction of the terrace.

The weekend before Harry placed the border and with a little help of me we cemented it. Last thursday we got seven tones of crushed rock - a truck brought it. The broken stones should serve as under construction for the new terrace.

was
Within two hours, then caught up the gravel.
After two hours working the crushed stones were measured up with the border stones.

began on Saturday in the morning laying the wood ... First, the substructure was distributed evenly over the entire surface.
On Saturday morning we started to lay the wood ... at first we had to arrange The subconstruction reguarlly about the whole area.

And by and by then the boards were screwed to the substructure.
Bit by bit the single shelves were screwed on the subconstruction.

More and more boards ...
More and more shelves ...

... until the terrace was quite ready then!
... until the new terrace was done!

But a last step we had to come. Once we do not like it when the wood is silvery by weathering, we had the patio or oils.
But one last thing had to be done. Neither Harry nor I do not like it very much when I get the wood's investigation of silver shimmer from all the rain and sun, so we had to oil it.

After the work had still many plants to their new place be.
After all this work our plants had to be brought to their new home.

But now it loads the new, twice as large terrace to sit and linger.
Take a seat and enjoy a few moments, the new view!
But now the new big terrace invites to sit down and relax the whole day.
Take a seat and enjoy some moments the new perspective!

I hope you like our new patio just as much as we do!
Now is the time to look for me again to look at you over what has been going on in the meantime, you Sun I'm sure on something!
Much love and see you soon, yours
